Destiny can be a bitch.

This weekend I accepted the fact that I will only be-friend headstrong, independent, and stubborn women in my life. Do I even need to present an example? Cindy, DeeAnna, Andrea, Shanna, etc etc. Not to mention the goddesses of stubborn, the Mighty 4M's in my life:
Malice
Miechia
Moms
Morrison
Speaking of 4 women that should never be in the same room at the same time.....

I cant complain though, there's nothing like a strong, southern women to hang out with. Well, except for Andrea. She's not from the south, and she's on some whole 'nother other stubborn. Which is why we cant share the same space for more than 3 or 4 hours. Love her to death, but sometimes two people can be too much alike. Good Morning Dre. This is the part where I called you and woke you up.

Not since we sent Infinite to the grocery store to pick up some spices (it took him 2 hours) have I been so inclined as to want to "kick someone in the neck".....long story. Ive been told that its not good to be "100% Lamont" when I first go out somewhere with someone, because sometimes I can be just a little too much to take (thanks Kim), of course I threw that advice out of the window. It was one of those good weekends though. She exposed me to Kahlil Gibran, I exposed her to Gil Scott-Heron, and the 124.......and who DOESNT want to be exposed to the 124?

Anya and I share mentalities as far as religion (real-lie-jun) is concerned, so it was funny as hell (no pun intended) when we went to the park. There was a festival-type atmosphere going on which turned out to be JesusFest 2001. I offered to pull a ODB and snatch the mike from someone and talk about my interpretation of world religions, and to also plug the H'eye Pha'Delatie project by performing "The Dominant Factor". She noted that it wouldnt be a good idea and later sparked a 15 minute debate about her toes.

What have I been typing about for the last 2 minutes?

Im all about chilvary, but she wouldnt let me. Paid for everything and pretty much controlled the day (somewhat). Im not the most observant person in the world, but someone has been listening to Destiny's Child's "Independent Women" a little too much.
